It can be intimidating at first but social apps like Meet Up can provide great opportunities to meet people with similar interests to you, whether it’s historical buildings or country walks. There are plenty of groups for older people with a variety of organised activities and get togethers.

Walking For Health

Walking for health are a great initiative to help older people get active with walks around the UK that extra support for those with health conditions. There are plenty of walks in Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas to get involved with.
