At Premier Care, our carer teams have been working in the community for over 20 years. Alongside our dedicated live team, they’ve been helping people maintain their independence in their own homes.
We’re honoured to have such a fantastic team of carers supporting our Service Users across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Many of our carers were new to care when they joined us, but our training and with on-going support, they have some wonderful stories of flourishing in a career in care.

Supporting people in their homes
Our carers provide support in their local communities, helping people with a variety of disabilities maintain their independence and dignity. Everyone has the right to live a happy and fulfilling life, and our care staff enable our Service Users to. Whether they just need a chat or need help with personal care, they know someone will be there to help.
Carer for the first time
Care is something that some people have a natural aptitude for. With full training and on-going support, previous experience in care isn’t always necessary. As long as you have a desire to help people you can make a difference.
Make a difference
All of our Service Users are unique and have different care needs. Sometimes, an advanced level of care is needed and our carers are the ones that have to deliver it. With a focus on independence, being a carer is about making a lasting and positive contribution in someone else’s life.
Working as a carer is not just a rewarding career – you have the opportunity to meet wonderful people and fun at the same time. Many carers form close relationships with their Service Users and make lovely memories.
