What is the roll out plan for vaccines?
We think the vaccine’s speedy rollout is critical in reducing the pandemic’s death toll and relieving pressure on the NHS. The plan will be to offering vaccines to over 15 million people by mid-February and millions more by spring.

You will receive your Covid19 injection in your upper arm in 2 doses, and the 2nd dose will come 3 to 12 weeks after the 1st dose.
How effective is the COVID-19 vaccine?
The 1st dose of the COVID-19 vaccine should give you good protection. Two doses provide you with more security and longer-lasting protection.
You can still get or spread coronavirus after you have had the vaccine. Continue to follow social distancing guidance. Wear a face mask or shield in places hard to stay away from other people.
How safe is the COVID-19 vaccine?
The vaccine must meet stringent safety standards set out by the Independent Medicines and Healthcare products and Regulatory Agency (MHRA). The MHRA follows international safety standards. You can find out more about the vaccines in the UK by visiting the gov.uk website
Vaccines for Health and Social Care staff
Premier Community, have obtained access to vaccines for our staff, initially at Chesterfield Royal Hospital and Kingsmill Hospital, and our program is underway. If you haven’t received your information, please contact your Registered Manager. The vaccine is not mandatory; it is your choice. Premier Community strongly encourage you to take up this opportunity to keep yourself and others safe.
