Hannah from The Recruitment Team

First things first

A career in Social Care is more than just a job: it’s being responsible for having a positive impact on the lives of others, it’s being a shoulder to lean on for those who need it, and most importantly, it’s being a friend. We are always on the lookout for compassionate, trustworthy individuals with the ability to enhance the lives of others. Throughout our recruitment process, we look for individuals that display a positive, can-do attitude. A good Social Care Interview will have lots of evidence of these attributes.

Show us your Quality

To be a quality carer, you need drive, empathy, and a passion to help others – a strong Social Care interview will draw on all of these qualities. It is important to highlight how they are evidenced in your current or previous job roles, your day-to-day life, and your mindset

No expereince needed

Experience is great but not always necessary. We have an in-depth Training Resource Centre and some amazing qualifications that will set you on a career pathway. Whether you have experience or not. We believe the attributes that make strong carers start with your transferrable skills and qualities that can be built upon with knowledge and experience in the care sector. Think about these skills and be sure to let us know what they are. We want to hear from you if you are dependable, up for a challenge, and eager to learn. Why not take a look at the Skills for Care web page to help get clued up on the role

Our service users are at the heart of what we do.

We strive to find carers who will endeavour to enter their homes with an enthusiastic and naturally infectious personality.

True Colours

A good social Care interview will show us your true self the best you can (we aren’t out to trick you!). Whether it be your caring nature, your ability to put another person’s needs at the centre of what you do, or your passion for helping someone the way you would your family member, we want to see this reflected in your answers. Have a look at our article Pre-recorded video interview tips it will help you when making that first impression.
