Home Care in Sheffield
The areas covered in our Sheffield Branch are Dronfield, Heeley, Woodseats, Meersbrook, Jordanthorpe and surrounding villages and towns.
Our Sheffield Home Care branch opened its doors in late 2018.
Situated in our Mobility Shop office on Abbey Road, in Woodseats, we have a great location for carers and service users alike to pop in. This allows our team to provide information on our home care in Sheffield from our high street location.
Here at Premier Community, we’re here to help those in the local community. We know that those with elderly parents or loved ones might struggle to pop and see them every day. It can be increasingly difficult to see Mum or Dad struggle getting to the shops or sitting at home wondering if they’re alright. We’re here to support people to maintain their independence at home by providing high quality home care for as long as possible.
We understand how a simple daily task can become an increasingly difficult challenge. We’re here to help. All our care team are qualified to help with any task you need help with. Our bespoke service ranges from medication managing to helping with personal care.

How we can help
Hourly Home Care – This allows our carers to give a higher quality of care with more time with the client.
Hospital to Home Care – One of the leading causes of hospital readmission or slow post-hospitalisation recovery is the lack of proper support following a hospital discharge
Respite Home Care – This is temporary care to provide family caregivers relief from the full-time care they have been providing for a loved one.
Personal Care Services – From a recent survey, 100% of our clients said they were treated with dignity and respect
Companionship Care – The number of over-50s experiencing loneliness is set to reach 2 million by 2025. This compares to around 1.4 million in 2016 – a 49% increase in 10 years (Age UK 2018, All The Lonely People)
Digital Care Planning
In 2019, we’ve introduced Digital Care Planning for all our Employees, Service Users and their families. This enables us to update a care plan with a click of a button. All a Service User or their family have to do is contact us to change something in their plan and we can update it for their care worker to see within seconds.
This also helps us ensure that all the Service Users tasks in a visit is completed as their allocated care worker will tick these off whilst at the visit. This is included for medication as there is a section on there for E-Mar Charts.
Once a visit is completed, our care worker can provide feedback. The tasks, E-Mar Chart and the feedback of that visit can be accessed by the Service User and their family through our client log in at the top of this page, this will be accessible no matter where the family are.
This means you can check that your loved one is safe and sound at home overnight, while you might be down the road, in another city or even in another country. We want to make sure all of our Service Users and their family have peace of mind while we are providing their care.
Our system follows all GDPR legislation and ensures Premier Community are stepping in the right way to become paper free.
We’ve been proving Home Help services in your Sheffield community for over 20 years. Over time, easy tasks can become challenging. We’re here to help! We understand that a clean and tidy home can be a considerable part of living well.

Meet The Arnold Team
Community Registered Manager – Sheffield Home Care Branch
I have been Registered for many years with the Care Quality Commission in my roles within Social Care. I started off as a Home Care Worker at 27 years old. Prior to this I worked within retail however my mum sadly had a stroke therefore I spent a lot of time caring for her. From that experience I realised I wanted to pursue caring for people as a career. I am now 56 years old and have worked continuous in Social Care during my time working in this setting, I achieved all my qualifications including my managers awards and since the age of 30 have been a manager within Home Care, Residential and Nursing Homes with all types of client groups. I have recently joined Premier Community to work in home care again and finish my career where my heart lies, enabling people to live at home for as long as possible and maintain as much independence as possible. My goal is to make Sheffield Home Care Branch as successful as it can be and deliver the highest quality service with the service users at the centre of every decision made about their support and to pass on my knowledge to the staff team I manage.
