Ilkeston Home Care
The areas covered in our Ilkeston Branch are Ilkeston, Belper, Heanor, Alfreton, Long Eaton and surrounding villages and towns.
Our Ilkeston Home Care Branch opened its doors in late 2018.
Situated in the upstairs of our mobility shop, we have a fantastic location on the high street for care staff and service users alike to pop in.
Since opening this branch in 2018, we’ve built an excellent reputation and great knowledge of the local areas.
Our Branch understand how a simple daily task can become an increasingly difficult challenge. We’re here to help. All our care team are qualified to help with any task you need help with. The bespoke service we offer ranges from medication managing to helping with personal care.

How we can help
Hourly Home Care – This allows our carers to give a higher quality of care with more time with the client.
Hospital to Home Care – One of the leading causes of hospital readmission or slow post-hospitalisation recovery is the lack of proper support following a hospital discharge
Respite Home Care – This is temporary care to provide family caregivers relief from the full-time care they have been providing for a loved one.
Personal Care Services – From a recent survey, 100% of our clients said they were treated with dignity and respect
Companionship Care – The number of over-50s experiencing loneliness is set to reach 2 million by 2025. This compares to around 1.4 million in 2016 – a 49% increase in 10 years (Age UK 2018, All The Lonely People)
Digital Care Planning
In 2019, we’ve introduced Digital Care Planning for all our Employees, Service Users and their families. This enables us to update a care plan with a click of a button. All a Service User or their family have to do is contact us to change something in their plan and we can update it for their care worker to see within seconds.
This also helps us ensure that all the Service Users tasks in a visit is completed as their allocated care worker will tick these off whilst at the visit. This is included for medication as there is a section on there for E-Mar Charts.
Once a visit is completed, our care worker can provide feedback. The tasks, E-Mar Chart and the feedback of that visit can be accessed by the Service User and their family through our client log in at the top of this page, this will be accessible no matter where the family are.
This means you can check that your loved one is safe and sound at home overnight, while you might be down the road, in another city or even in another country. We want to make sure all of our Service Users and their family have peace of mind while we are providing their care.
Our system follows all GDPR legislation and ensures Premier Community are stepping in the right way to become paper free.
We’ve been proving HomeHelp services in your Ilkeston community for over 20 years. Over time, easy tasks can become challenging. We’re here to help! We understand that a clean and tidy home can be a considerable part of living well.

Community Registered Manager – Ilkeston Home Care Branch
I’m the Community Registered Manager for the Ilkeston Home Care Branch at Premier Community. I have worked for Premier Community for 3 years and I’ve worked my way up from a care worker. I started as a Home Care worker in 2011 and have not looked back ever since. I have achieved my level 2 and 3 diploma’s and I am currently working towards my Level 5 diploma which will be completed by December 2019. Since becoming the registered manager of the Ilkeston Home Care Branch at Premier Community it is my goal to achieve the best quality care for my service users and give the staff I manage the support and guidance they need on their premier care journey.
