An In-Person Visit from Connecteam

Connectteam pay Premier Community a visit

Tags

As February began, we received a warm visit from one of our close partners, Connecteam.

Since October 2023, Premier Community has collaborated with a communication system called Connecteam. With a larger remote workforce, we had been seeking a solution to keep our team connected and engaged. Working with our Connecteam partners has been a fantastic journey. Their system has enabled our teams to collaborate, report issues, and ultimately improve our care delivery and the consistency of quality care.

We’ve enhanced our sense of community with features like celebrations, recognition, and responsive forms. Our small local care teams are now better equipped to work together, while our Registered Managers and Care Coordinators can provide greater support and quick responses to issues. Thanks to Connecteam and alongside our brilliant managers, our teams are thriving.

Connecteam is an international organisation. Like most business-to-business relationships since COVID, we’ve primarily worked with them virtually, fostering positive, solution-focused relationships. However, Connecteam has taken a refreshing approach by sending our customer relationship manager from their headquarters in Israel all the way to Mansfield for an on-site visit.

Elinor and her colleague Amit spent time at our headquarters discussing Premier Community’s goals for 2025 with some of our department managers. Together, we brainstormed solutions that the system can already provide and imagined potential developments coming from Connecteam in 2025.

For me, as Premier Community’s Communications Manager, it’s truly remarkable to have a system and a team that not only understand our mission but also align with our values. Both Premier Community and Connecteam share a passion for innovation, pushing boundaries, and striving for excellence.

Building Trust Through Human Connection

Even in a world dominated by virtual meetings, the value of in-person interactions cannot be overstated. This visit was a reminder of how important it is to connect on a human level, fostering deeper relationships and building trust. While virtual meetings have served us well, there’s something irreplaceable about face-to-face conversations that help strengthen collaboration and ensure clarity. Spending time together allowed both teams to connect beyond screens, reinforcing our shared vision for the future.

Understanding Each Other’s Needs

One of the most rewarding aspects of this in-person visit was the chance to deepen our understanding of each other’s needs. During our discussions, we could align on future goals and share feedback in real-time. Connecteam’s team didn’t just listen from a distance—they immersed themselves in our vision for 2025, helping us identify solutions and potential improvements. This level of personal engagement builds trust and ensures that we’re not just working with a partner but with a team that genuinely understands our needs.

Empowering Our Frontline Workers

Our frontline workers are the heart of what we do, and we know that their voices must be heard. After our meeting at headquarters, we joined our care staff for a team meeting to hear their thoughts on Connecteam. This was a vital opportunity for us to hear first hand how the system impacts their daily work and what additional features could support them even further. Gathering this feedback in person ensures that our teams’ experiences and insights are central to our decision-making process.

Strengthening Our Sense of Community

At Premier Community, we pride ourselves on creating a tight-knit and supportive culture. The in-person visit from Connecteam reinforced this by showing that true collaboration isn’t just about the tools we use—it’s about the people behind those tools. Working alongside Connecteam in person allowed us to celebrate our shared values and vision, reminding us of the power of community. This visit wasn’t just about business; it was about reinforcing the relationships that make our team stronger and more connected.

Good luck, Connecteam, and thank you for your visit. It was extremely encouraging to spend time with your team in person, and I’m left feeling very confident that you will help us succeed as we continue to grow and build the best Caring Community!
