Every month, we love to spotlight those members of Premier Community who have been particularly brilliant during the past month. However, with 2024 drawing to a close, we would like to share 16 of our stars across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire North, Amber Valley and Erewash, who have been amazing throughout the entire year.

Our senior management team and registered branch managers have considered all the amazing compliments, interactions and care delivered throughout the year and have selected the following stars of 2024 (in no particular order)

Nottinghamshire Branch:

Joanne Gould: Joanne is a key member of our team. We are very thankful for her contribution. Her caring nature really does impact the lives of the people she cares for!

Emma Ryer: Emma is a well-liked member of the Mansfield team. She’s someone I can turn to if I need a situation assessment. Her approach is kind and considerate, and she often goes above and beyond!

Katie Cooke: Katie has been a key part of her team for some time and was greatly missed while on Maternity leave. Since coming back, we have been once again impressed by the level of care Katie naturally provides. From searching for Service Users at 4am, to training up new team members, Katie is a true star!

Jayne Harchuck: Jayne goes about her work in a quiet but confident manner. She doesn’t make a lot of fuss but always speaks up when needed. We value the work Jayne provides to her team. Sometimes, the hard miles go unnoticed, but not today, Jayne; we see and value your contribution!

Amber Valley Branch:

Ann Marie Watson: Ann Marie goes above and beyond for all. She genuinely is the most caring, supportive and reliable member of the team

Karen Price: We can rely on Karen’s support for anything. Nothing is ever too much trouble and a task is always completed above and beyond expectation. A truly remarkable lady!

Emma Dilley: Emma is a well-loved and respected member of the team. She supports new and old colleagues and has genuine love for all. She really grasps what it is like to care for and treat everyone as your own family. She is a diamond!

Liisa Hollis: Liisa comes to work each day and always gives it 100%. The relationship she builds with the service users is inspiring and she will do whatever she needs to ensure they are well. Not only that, but the support she gives me as an RM is just appreciated so much. I can absolutely rely on her to support me with everything, I couldn’t imagine the team without her!

Erewash Branch:

Lisa Wardle: Lisa is a genuinely caring individual. She offers a high level of care and gives her role her all!

Catriona Serbest: Catriona has made a brilliant impression since joining the team. She is extremely reliable within our team and always gives her all!

Zoe Beck: Zoe is a key member of our team. She puts others before herself and always looks out for her fellow carer. Pair that with her high-quality care, and you have an actual diamond! Thank you, Zoe!

Bethany Mcilwrath: Bethany is a carer who can easily pass by under the radar as she works in our team with confidence. She turns up, delivers incredible care, and is hands-on with any issues. Others may miss the impact of your work, but we don’t. We really value you, Bethany!

Derbyshire North Branch:

Natasha Barton: Natasha is so good with everyone. She never leaves a job undone, she will help anyone. She often goes the extra mile for service users even if he means her going out of her way!

Claire Hancock: Claire always helps her colleagues whenever she can, like when she picks up loads of calls in order for others to attend Gail’s funeral. She is a truly amazing individual who cares about everyone and will help anyone with no expectation of any praise.

Sian Morgan: When you ask Sian to do something, she delivers without hesitation. I have absolute trust that the task will be completed. She always puts the service user at the centre of everything she does; she will go out of her way for any service user.

Kerry Hibbert: Kerry will always go above and beyond no matter how much disruption it causes to herself; she’s waited numerous times for ambulances way past finishing time. She’ll go to service users others often decline to go, always delivering a quality service with no moans. She is a brilliant carer!

These are just a few of our amazing stars of 2024. It was hard to narrow it down to only 16. Thank you again for all your hard work and dedication to providing care for our community; you are all appreciated. Here is to 2025 and another year of making a difference to service users’ lives and applauding the stars of Premier Community.
