Now that we’re in the thick of winter and Christmas is on its way, we asked our mobility team to share their top product recommendations to help you stay warm, comfortable, and prepared for the colder months. You may even find the perfect Christmas gift for yourself or a loved one along the way. 

Maureen – Woodseats, Sheffield 

Maureen, Branch Manager of our Woodseats store in Sheffield, has chosen two products designed to add warmth and comfort to your winter. She recommends the Scooter Leg Cape, describing it as “a waterproof and windproof fur-lined leg cape that fastens around the waist—great if you’re out and about on your scooter in colder weather. It’s a universal size and drapes from your waist to your feet.” 

She also highlights our Bed Socks, noting that “these would make an ideal Christmas gift. They’re fur-lined and can be worn in bed or while relaxing in a chair, and they come in two size 4–6 and 7–11 and three colours: cream, pink, and blue.” 

Paula – Swadlincote, Derbyshire 

Paula, Store Supervisor at our Swadlincote branch, has chosen two Cosyfeet favourites. She says she “would always recommend a lovely pair of Cosyfeet slippers,” and although the Holly ladies’ slipper is a best-seller, she explains that she would “steer a lady towards the Dreamy slippers as they are just so cosy and warm.” For men, Paula’s top pick is the Richie slipper, which she calls her “firm favourite for a cosy, comfortable slipper.”

Jayne – Carlton, Nottingham 

Jayne, Branch Manager of our Carlton shop on Carlton Hill, recommends two products that are especially useful throughout the winter months. Rachel – Kings Mill Hospital, Mansfield

Lynne – Ilkeston, Derbyshire 

Lynne, Branch Manager at our Ilkeston store, has selected two winter essentials. She recommends the Wheelchair Cosy, which she says is “guaranteed to keep you warm and cosy, as it is fur-lined and waterproof, ideal while someone pushes you around.”
