Celebrating Premier Community’s Office Team Award Nominees: Four Leaders Shaping the Future of Care
At Premier Community, we are fortunate to have teams full of compassionate, skilled people who put our values into action every single day. But among them are individuals whose leadership, character, and commitment transform not just their own roles, but the culture, confidence, and success of entire teams.
This year, four of our colleagues have been nominated for awards in recognition of the extraordinary impact they make: Molly Price, Amanda Winnard, Gemma Singleton, and Nikita Sargeant. Each of them represents the heart of what makes Premier Community truly special.
Molly Price – The Three R’s Award Nominee – Recruitment • Retention • Recognition
Molly’s nine-year journey with Premier Community exemplifies what growth, resilience, and dedication truly look like. Starting as a business admin apprentice, she has progressed through onboarding, recruitment, and for the last year, stepping into the role of Acting Recruitment Manager.
What sets Molly apart is her leadership style, rooted in trust, honesty, and high expectations. When she stepped into the manager role to cover maternity leave, she led a temporary team to deliver one of our most successful years for recruitment and staff growth.
She hasn’t just filled vacancies; she has reshaped how we bring people into Premier Community. She championed fair, values-led recruitment practices, improved retention by enhancing induction and shadowing, and helped embed a culture where staff feel supported from the moment they join.
Her work on diversity, belonging, and mental health support shows her commitment to ensuring that every colleague feels they matter.
Molly is a natural leader calm, driven, and inspiring whose influence strengthens our organisation from the inside out.
Amanda Winnard – Workforce Development Award Nominee – Building Confidence, Skills, and Belonging
Amanda’s journey from care assistant to registered manager, and now to Workforce Development Manager, is a story of passion and transformation. She has reimagined how we welcome, train, and grow our people.
Amanda rebuilt our induction programme from the ground up — ensuring it is inclusive, values-based, and reflective of who we are as an organisation. Today, her blended in-person and digital pathways help new starters feel part of the Premier Community family on day one.
She has strengthened mandatory training, expanded access to NVQs and specialist skills, relaunched Community Champions and Experts by Experience, and introduced mental health first aid. Beyond this, she redesigned our HR training to ensure compliance, clarity, and true support for colleagues.
Amanda’s energy, creativity, and passion for helping people succeed have reshaped our entire learning culture. Her work empowers our teams, improves care quality, and ensures every colleague feels prepared, capable, and confident.
Gemma Singleton – Home Care Coordinator Award Nominee – The Steady Heartbeat of Nottinghamshire.
Gemma is the person every team hopes they’ll have calm, proactive, and deeply invested in the wellbeing of both service users and colleagues. As the Nottinghamshire team coordinator, she is the dependable voice on the phone, the problem-solver in a crisis, and the steady guide through rota changes, travel challenges, and unexpected emergencies.
Her colleagues describe her as supportive, understanding, and endlessly patient:
“Gemma is a fabulous manager who goes above and beyond her role.” & “She listens, understands, and works with us. A real asset.”
Gemma brings clarity to complex situations and compassion to difficult days. Whether she’s supporting carers emotionally or ensuring service users receive the right care at the right time, she never loses sight of what matters: people.
Her leadership creates a culture where staff feel heard and service users feel safe — and that is the true mark of an exceptional coordinator.
Nikita Sargeant – Home Care Registered Manager Award Nominee – Leadership With Heart, Integrity, and Strength
Nikita has transformed the Erewash Branch through her transparency, responsiveness, and genuine care for people. Her team describe her as the best manager they’ve ever had, someone who “gets stuff done,” communicates clearly, and takes time to understand both staff and service users.
Her impact is felt in every aspect of the service. She supports carers through pressures and difficult cases, liaises with families and health professionals, and ensures everyone feels informed and valued. In moments when colleagues have faced challenging situations, Nikita has stayed by their side not just during the incident, but in the days afterwards, checking they were okay.
Her consistency, integrity, and compassion create a culture of safety and trust. Erewash is stronger because of her leadership, her honesty, and her unwavering commitment to her team.
Four Leaders, One Shared Purpose
Though their roles are different, Molly, Amanda, Gemma, and Nikita all share the same core qualities:
They put people first.
They lead with kindness and clarity.
They embody Premier Community’s values in everything they do.
They make their teams stronger, safer, and more confident.
They inspire others not through recognition, but through their example.
These four women represent the best of Premier Community: leaders who care fiercely, support generously, and raise the standards of the entire organisation.
To our nominees thank you.
Your work changes lives, strengthens our teams, and shapes the future of care.
We are proud of you, grateful for you, and honoured to celebrate everything you bring to Premier Community.
