How often should I charge my scooter? – At least fully once a week even if the scooter is not in use (if you don’t charge it fully occasionally it can damage your battery)
Will my scooter be ok in the rain? – No, you would need some form of scooter cover/canopy
Do I need insurance? – No, however we recommend it for liability purposes
Do I have to tax my scooter if I am taking it on the road? – You don’t need to tax it however you do need to inform the DVLA that you are a road user and that is a free service
How to store a scooter outdoors? – Shed, Garage or a scooter cover however it could still be damaged by condensation etc
Can you use an extension to charge it? – Manufactures recommend you always plug your scooter into the mains
How long does the battery last? – It can depend on what size the battery is, how frequently it is used and how the scooter is used (Best to reach out and speak to someone in store or via our online chatbot)
How long does it take to charge? – We recommend you charge your scooter overnight to ensure it gets a full charge

Should I buy a powerchair or scooter? – If you have trouble walking short distances and will be using your mobility device full time, a powerchair might be better. Powerchairs are also great for all day use as they can be used indoors as well as outdoors. If you can walk short distances easily but have trouble with longer distances, a mobility scooter might be more suitable.
