Act 26 of 30: A Little Comfort for the Journey Home 

For Act 26 of our 30 for 30 campaign, we wanted to offer a little comfort to people leaving hospital and continuing their recovery at home. 

Our Kings Mill Mobility Shop in Mansfield will be giving out 10 self-care boxes, each packed with thoughtful items to make those first few days after hospital discharge feel a little more comfortable. 

Inside, there’ll be things like a fluffy blanket, tea and biscuits, and a puzzle book for a quiet moment. 

Nothing complicated. Just a small gesture of kindness for someone taking their next step towards recovery. 

Leaving hospital can bring a mixture of emotions. There’s the relief of being back in familiar surroundings, alongside the adjustment of settling into everyday life again and rebuilding confidence at home. 

Through these boxes, we hope to offer a little comfort, encouragement and a simple reminder that someone is thinking of you. 

As we celebrate 30 years of Premier Community, our 30 for 30 campaign continues to recognise the people and communities at the heart of our story. 

This act brings that spirit directly to our Kings Mill Mobility Shop, where our team supports people across Mansfield and the surrounding area with mobility, independence and everyday living. 

Ten boxes, packed with care, to wish ten people well on the journey home.
