Celebrating 30 Years Together: Our Gresley Rovers FC Ladies Anniversary Kit Sponsorship: Act 27 of our 30 for 30 campaign

For Act 27 of our 30 for 30 campaign, we’re celebrating two special milestones through one brilliant local partnership in South Derbyshire.

Premier Community is proud to sponsor the 30th anniversary kit for Gresley Rovers FC Ladies, as both the team and Premier Community celebrate 30 years. The team will wear the kit throughout the current season, marking three decades of women’s football alongside our own 30 years of supporting people to live independently within their communities.

Two 30th anniversaries, one shared celebration

Sharing the same anniversary makes this sponsorship feel particularly special. It gives us the chance to celebrate how far we have both come, while continuing to support one another within the local community.

Why grassroots women’s football matters

Grassroots football plays a huge role in bringing people together. It creates friendships, builds confidence and gives players, families and supporters something to feel proud of, both on and off the pitch.

For women’s football, it’s also an opportunity to inspire the next generation, encourage more people to get involved, and show that there’s a place in the game for everyone.

That makes this partnership a brilliant fit for our 30 for 30 campaign.

Giving back to Swadlincote and South Derbyshire

Our anniversary has never just been about looking back. It’s about giving something back to the communities that have been part of our journey, and celebrating the people and organisations helping those communities thrive.

Our team in the area is part of that community every day. We provide home care across South Derbyshire, and our mobility shop in Swadlincote helps local people stay independent at home.

We’re delighted to support Gresley Rovers FC Ladies as they step onto the pitch in their anniversary kit, carrying a little of our shared celebration into every match.

Here’s to 30 years of teamwork, community spirit and local pride, and to a fantastic season ahead!
