Premier Community celebrates its Mansfield roots at Mansfield Town’s 250 Club draw

Mansfield will always have a special place in the Premier Community story. 

It is where our family business began, where many of our first relationships were built, and a community we remain proud to support today through our local home care and mobility services. 

So, when the opportunity came to join fellow Mansfield businesses at Mansfield Town Football Club’s 250 Club draw for the 2026/27 season, we were delighted to be involved. 

Supporting the community where our story began 

Premier Community was represented at the event by Mobility Director Joe Isterling and Robin Isterling, husband of our founder Gill and dad to the brothers who continue to lead the family business today. 

The evening brought together businesses from across Mansfield and the surrounding area, providing a chance to make new connections, catch up with familiar faces and support one of the town’s best-known institutions. 

Joe and Robin also had the opportunity to meet Mansfield Town manager Nigel Clough and Stags player Lucas Akins during the evening. 

Premier Community made it all the way to the final few businesses in the draw for the opportunity to sponsor the North Stand, eventually being drawn third from last. 

Not quite our year, but certainly close enough to make the final stages interesting! 

We would like to thank Mansfield Town Football Club and its commercial team for another enjoyable event and for continuing to bring businesses from across the Mansfield community together. 

Proud to provide home care in Mansfield 

While football was the reason for getting together on this occasion, events like this are also a reminder of just how important Mansfield remains to us. 

Premier Community has grown significantly since our beginnings here, but Mansfield continues to sit at the heart of our organisation. 

Today, our local care teams support people across Mansfield and the surrounding Nottinghamshire communities, helping individuals remain independent, comfortable and connected to the places and people that matter to them.

Our colleagues live locally, our organisation grew here, and many of the families, businesses and community organisations around Mansfield have been part of the Premier Community story for years.

Remaining independent at home can mean very different things to different people. 

For one person, it might mean having support to prepare meals and manage medication. For somebody else, it could mean being able to continue doing their own shopping, visiting friends, attending appointments or simply getting out for a cup of tea. 

Good home care should recognise those differences. 

Our aim is to work alongside people and their families to understand what matters to them and provide the right level of support around their lives. 

Because care isn’t only about what happens inside someone’s home. It’s also about helping people remain part of their neighbourhood, maintain relationships and continue enjoying the community around them. 

That philosophy feels particularly appropriate in Mansfield, the community where Premier Community’s own journey began. 

Wishing the Stags well for 2026/27 

With another season getting underway, everyone at Premier Community would like to wish Nigel Clough, the Mansfield Town players, staff and supporters all the very best for the 2026/27 campaign. 

We might have narrowly missed out in the 250 Club draw this time, but we were very pleased to take part and spend an evening alongside so many other local organisations.
