Meet Jodie Reek-Jackson, Care Co-ordinator
We’re delighted to congratulate Jodie Reek-Jackson, who has stepped into the role of Care Co-ordinator after spending the last six years supporting people as a Care Professional and Lead Community Carer here at Premier Community.
Having worked out in the community herself, Jodie understands first-hand the compassion, commitment, and resilience it takes to deliver outstanding care. That experience gives her a unique perspective as she begins supporting our teams from the office.
“Using my experience as a carer out in the field, I know just how much hard work, compassion and dedication goes into the care you all give. I am looking forward to working closely with you all and providing support every step of the way.”
Jodie says she was encouraged to take the leap by someone very special, her mum, who gave her the confidence to apply for the role. Since joining the Care Co-ordination team, she’s enjoyed getting hands-on with the systems and has felt supported every step of the way by colleagues who have made her feel welcome.
Away from work, life is wonderfully busy. Jodie spends much of her time keeping up with her energetic two-year-old son, heading out on family walks with their dog or enjoying a good thriller or fantasy novel whenever she gets a quiet moment.
She also has an incredible story to tell. Jodie once spent two weeks on a wildlife reserve in South Africa, helping to care for animals and protect critically endangered rhinos, an experience she describes as both unforgettable and life-changing.
Please join us in congratulating Jodie on her well-deserved promotion and wishing her every success in her new role. We’re excited to see her continue making a positive difference for our colleagues, our service users and the wider Premier Community family. 💙
