Premier Community at the Chatsworth Country Fair

Our team at Premier Community enjoyed three fantastic days at the Chatsworth Country Fair this weekend, bringing together colleagues from our Mobility and Home Care teams for a memorable weekend in the heart of Derbyshire.

The fair welcomed thousands of visitors for a packed programme of countryside entertainment, shopping, food and family activities. It gave our team a brilliant opportunity to meet people from across the region, as well as visitors who had travelled from all over the UK especially for the event.

We were able to introduce people to our services and explain how we can support greater comfort, confidence and independence. We also had the pleasure of seeing some familiar faces, including clients and fellow Premier Community colleagues enjoying a fun day out at the Country Fair.

Bringing Premier Community to Chatsworth

Our stand brought our different services together in one place, allowing visitors to discover the wide range of support available through Premier Community.

On the first day, many guests stopped by to chat with the team and browse or try our selection of mobility scooters, walking aids, riser recliners and other helpful products.

Our knowledgeable colleagues were available throughout the weekend to answer questions, offer practical advice and help visitors explore options suited to their individual needs.

Kate, Kings Mill Mobility Shop Branch Manager, shared what the opening day of the Country Fair involved:

“What a fantastic day at the Chatsworth Country Fair! I loved representing Premier Community and meeting so many lovely people. It was a pleasure welcoming visitors to our stand, answering questions and sharing more about how we support people in the community.

The atmosphere was fantastic, with so many amazing stalls and plenty of friendly faces. A really enjoyable and successful day, and a great opportunity to connect with the community and raise awareness of what Premier Community has to offer. Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat! It was lovely meeting you all!”

Conversations That Make a Difference

By Saturday, we were in full swing and embracing the fantastic atmosphere of the Country Fair. Our team was busy speaking with visitors about the different ways care can be provided in their own homes.

These conversations covered everything from companionship and help around the house to personal care, respite support and full-time Live-in Care. It was wonderful to provide a welcoming place where people could stop for friendly advice, whether they were considering support for themselves or a loved one.

One particularly meaningful moment came when a visitor using a powerchair stopped by our stand. She told the team how great it was to see a stand representing people like her and how much it meant to see Premier Community at an event such as the Chatsworth Country Fair.

Jayne, Carlton Mobility Shop Branch Manager shared that she had a “very enjoyable day at Chatsworth Country Fair on Saturday. We met lots of lovely people and we were able to offer valuable advice regarding care and mobility issues.

It was great to showcase a selection of products and promote our Homecare packages. A very busy day and I’m looking forward to the next one!”

To round off the fun-packed weekend, our Sunday team prepared for a brilliant closing day. Although the morning began wet and damp, the blue skies arrived just in time for the Red Arrows to pass over the fair!

It was another wonderful day of meeting people, including individuals looking for support for themselves, families exploring care options for loved ones and visitors who simply wanted to learn more about the services available within their communities.

Fun at the Stand

Alongside offering advice and information, there was plenty of fun to enjoy at the Premier Community stand.

Our popular spinning wheel gave visitors the chance to win prizes, while our team enjoyed welcoming families, answering questions and getting involved in the brilliant atmosphere across the showground.

Kilee, Ilkeston Mobility Shop Branch Manager, shared:

“I really enjoyed attending the Chatsworth House Country Fair on Sunday and representing Premier Community on our stand. It was lovely meeting and talking to so many friendly people and hearing their stories.

The atmosphere was fantastic, and it was great to see so many people interested in what we do and the support we offer within the community. The event went really well, and I really enjoyed being part of such a successful and enjoyable day.”

A Fantastic Team Effort

Attending an event of this size takes a great deal of preparation, teamwork and enthusiasm.

From organising the stand and transporting equipment to welcoming visitors throughout the three-day event, colleagues from across Premier Community played an important part in making the weekend a success.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who helped with the planning, set-up and running of the stand. Your energy, knowledge and friendly approach gave visitors a warm welcome and represented Premier Community brilliantly.

The Chatsworth Country Fair was a fantastic opportunity to meet new people, raise awareness of our services and products, and spend time with the communities we are proud to support.
