Premier Community Careers: Celebrating Nicola’s 15 years of Service

Premier Community Careers: Nicola Cope sat at her desk on her computer

It’s always a pleasure to celebrate Premier Community Careers and take a minute to share milestones within our Community. The past month marked a significant milestone for our esteemed Senior Business Operations Manager, Nicola Cope, who celebrated an impressive 15 years of dedicated and exceptional service with Premier Community. It’s truly remarkable to reflect on Nicola’s journey within our community.

Back in 2009 Nicola embarked on her Premier Community career as an NVQ level 2 Care Assistant. Nicola’s initial recruitment was attributed to her profound passion for ensuring that individuals received compassionate care and were respected within the comfort of their own homes, a sentiment that deeply resonated with the core values of our company.

This unwavering passion served as the catalyst for Nicola’s evolution into the role of Senior Carer in 2013. Despite the challenges associated with the traditional approach to caregiving, including frequently changing plans and communication hurdles among carers, Nicola’s resilience and dedication propelled her to excel in her role, leading to a well-deserved promotion to Care Manager in 2014. Her ability to overcome these challenges is a testament to her strength and determination, and serves as an inspiration to all of us.

In her capacity as Care Manager, Nicola undertook a Level 5 NVQ course, embracing the opportunity to delve into the theoretical aspects of providing exceptional care. Armed with this newfound knowledge and bolstered by her prior experiences, Nicola earned the admiration and respect of her team.

Her visionary leadership played a pivotal role in transforming the Mansfield area into a vibrant and thriving team, while also extending the reach of our services to encompass Carlton and Arnold.

However, Nicola’s journey with Premier Community didn’t conclude there. Her fervent desire to foster the growth of the business and expand the provision of care across a broader geographic expanse saw her ascend to the leadership of our central Operations team.

In this role, she has been instrumental in supporting our community in delivering person-centred care across the East Midlands, embodying our commitment to excellence and compassion.

When asked about her enduring dedication to Premier Community, Nicola expressed her profound appreciation for the unwavering support she receives from the entire team emphasising that the trust and opportunities extended to her have been pivotal to her success.

We are incredibly proud of Nicola’s remarkable journey and express our heartfelt gratitude for the invaluable contributions she continues to make to our family at Premier Community.

Here’s to celebrating Nicola’s remarkable achievements and looking forward to the promising years ahead!
