Our people is what makes our company what it is today, hundreds of dedicated carers providing that exceptional home care prioritising integrity, family governance, innovation and a personalised experience for all our service users. It is nice to see what hobbies our carers are engaging in when they’re not in their Premier Community uniform and what achievements they’re earning when they are working hard in their uniform. Here are just a few team updates, some you might have even heard about from the carers themselves.
Long Service Recognition
One huge achievement being Jo Smith’s 20 years of service! What an amazing, admirable milestone, 20 years of hard work, dedication and putting service users at the heart of what she does. Some of you reading this would have had visits from Jo and won’t be surprised to hear that all her colleagues had nothing but kind words to say on social media when congratulating her on making a difference for 20 years.
New Team Members
In May, we welcomed Sarah Asbury to the team. Sarah is joining Premier Community as we look to grow into Swadlincote and provide more people with our family value-based care services.
Marie Brown and Kerri Moore joined our office-based team after previously working as care workers in Mansfield and Long Eaton. Marie will work in our Quality Team, overseeing the company’s efforts to engage with and listen to our service users and incorporate their feedback to continuously improve our service. Kerri will be supporting the onboarding of the onboarding of new staff in our Derbyshire North team as a Recruitment Manager.
We’ve also welcomed Jodie Smith and Aidan Carver to our team. Jodie joins our Care Coordinator Team, bringing a wealth of care knowledge with her and is settling into her new role very well. Aidan has joined us as a Business Administration Apprentice. His first task was to collect all the service user surveys that were submitted, and he did this brilliantly! He’s made a great start as our latest Apprentice.
Maternity Leave Update
We’ve also said goodbye and good luck to Leah Hopkinson. Leah is still a member of our team but is now on leave as she welcomes a new addition to her family; we’re wishing her a smooth, long, enjoyable maternity leave!
